Ingredients to make delicious baked Cocada:

 2 units of egg whites

 ¼ cup of brown sugar

 ½ teaspoon of vanilla

 2½ cups of grated coconut (200 grams)

How to Make Delicious Baked Cocada:

Beat the egg whites with brown sugar and vanilla until fluffy and frothy.

Add the grated coconut and squeeze well so that it absorbs some of the whites.

Line a platter with aluminum foil and arrange the dough for the cocadinha - leave it about 1 cm thick.

Tip: Squeeze the coconut candy evenly, the more compact it is now, the less it breaks after baking.

Bake at 160°C for about 20 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes.
